Mashman Park

Paydirt by Peter Day and Joanne Fuller is a tribute to the brickworks and pottery heritage of the area.

A series of painted tiles refer to the site’s layers of history, and uses the glaze colours common to pottery.  Items from Mashman Pottery, located on the site from 1885 to 1960, are depicted in the artwork.

The site also includes a brick bas-relief by Suzie Bleach and Andrew Townsend which also pays tribute to the industrial heritage of the site.
