Knit-In on The Concourse

Knitters of all levels are welcome to make squares for Wrap with Love rugs which are needed in Australia and overseas.

Drop in and knit a square (or two) to make into a blanket, or make a donation of 8 ply yarn and 4mm needles. Donations can also be left at Willoughby City Council, Level 4, 31 Victor St, Chatswood.

A volunteer not-for-profit organisation, Wrap with Love has provided more than 250,000 people in over 75 countries with wraps to protect against hypothermia. Founded in 1992, Wrap with Love is a non-denominational, non-racist, and non-political organisation, and is driven by the motto ‘Cold humanity is our concern, people caring about other people’.

Yarn bombers and guerilla knitters are also wanted to contribute to The Concourse Art Knit project.

Donations of 8 ply yarn very welcome.
