When was the last time you went to The Chase? Michelle Farrar-Eagles
If you haven’t been to The Chase lately, I suggest you pop a date in your diary. That’s exactly what I did last week. I scheduled some rare “me” time to go and have a lunch date with mum.
The hit list was long but nothing was stopping 2 determined women who only had a couple of hours to power through our list!!
First stop – yeh old trusty KMART for a few basics for the little dude, singlets, plain tee’s $3!! Yes $3. You can’t even get a coffee for that these days. Seriously the $3 long sleeve tees at Kmart are amazing. They start at size 1 and go up to about a size 10 I think. They are plain (no crass kids embellishment) and look so smart on! A MUST for winter!
Next stop – Shanghai Dumplings. This was mum’s first experience at Shanghai Dumplings and let’s just say it wont be her last! Even though there is a different head chef at every restaurant, they still know how to cook dumplings!! Mouth watering, taste bud pleasing dumplings…..Oh is it lunch time yet?
With full bellies, we then scooted to seed to pick up a few little pressies – must say seed have the best range of kids stuff this season - even if I have a son, I love these girls outfits!! How divine are they?
Diagonally opposite seed, tucked away in the corner next to Laura Ashley is a new store FAT! Originally from Melb these girls have bought a touch of eccentricity to The Chase stocking labels such as Bigeni basics – def worth a peak!
Last stop Country Road – for a few essential winter pieces to glam up the wardrobe…..how divine are these?
Faux leather pant (below) and the Intarsia Spot Knit (repeated) as it sold out in 24 hours earlier this season! Simple but stylish way to look good and keep warm this winter!
With the clock ticking towards 4pm, it was then time for me to make the mad rush to Daycare to pick up the little man…..
Oee can’t forget to mention, the COACH hoarding I believe was coming down on Saturday, must pop in to check out that new store. So much happening and going on in Chatswood!!!
