Dining at Vivid Sydney at Chatswood

Visitors to Vivid Sydney at Chatswood will be spoilt for choice with a range of dining options available to fuel up for their journey through the futuristic, steam-powered light installations in Chatswood CBD.

With several dining destinations spread throughout Chatswood, visitors can enjoy a mouth-watering selection of cuisines from around the world at The District at Chatswood Interchange, take a stroll down Hawker Lane at Westfield Chatswood for an authentic Asian street-food experience, or enjoy dining alfresco on The Concourse while watching the light show on the façade of the building.

Restaurants and eateries across Chatswood have gotten into the Vivid Sydney spirit, creating steampunk and futuristically inspired burgers, loaded hot chocolates and speciality cakes as part of this year’s event.dining-at-vivid-sydney-at-chatswood1

The Orchard Tavern, which is gaining a local reputation for quirky and creative weekly burger specials, has created a special ‘Vivid Burger’, available for theduration of the festival for $22. The burger features crispy skin pork belly, crispy bacon, pulled pork, peri peri mayo, Swiss cheese, rocket and slow roasted Roma tomatoes on a charcoal bun – served with rosemary and sea salt chips and aioli. The Tavern is also offering four special colourful Vivid inspired cocktails.

The Choc Pot in The District, Chatswood Interchange are offering be a steam punk’d S'mores Mocha Ice Cream Sandwich – a baked mocha mousse cake, vanilla bean ice cream, torched marshmallow, chocolate nuts and bolts on a metal plate.

Delicious ‘futuristic’ loaded hot chocolates from Passion Tree dessert shop in Chatswood Interchange will steam and warm up the coldest of engines with four fantastic flavours - Peanut Butter Cuppa, White Rose, Campfire S’mores and Mint White Delight.

The recently opened Starbucks at The Concourse will launch a Chatswood-exclusive locally made flourless Belgian Chocolate Cake for a limited time over the festival period.  This delicious dessert is available to take away and share with friends while watching the projection on the The Concourse, or stay in at Starbucks for a warm version of the dessert with cream and melting chocolate sauce.
