Some members of our community have expressed concern about coronavirus. We have considered NSW Health advice in line with our emergency management plan and will continue with all of our Year of the Rat festivities, unless that advice changes. We encourage our residents and visitors to follow the advice from NSW Health about their personal situation and take personal hygiene precautions. We will continue to monitor advice from NSW Health and will let you know of any changes to events.

While the WHO has declared a health emergency, we have consulted with stakeholders and NSW Health and believe continuing with the celebrations is the best option at this stage. Signage and information will be made available throughout the event precinct regarding procedures for good hygiene and access to washing facilities.
