Purchasing products that are fair trade certified can reduce poverty, encourage environmentally-friendly production methods and safeguard workers.

Come along to our Fair Trade Christmas Market to get a unique Christmas gift and learn about the artisans that have made the products.

Bookings are not required but feel free to register if you would like a reminder about the markets sent to you a week before the event.

Stalls you will find at the market include:

  • Adinkra - Unique bags, baskets, decor and baby bassinets made from natural and sustainable grass, handwoven by the indigenous Frafra people of Bolgatanga in Northern Ghana.
  • AfriBeads - Recycled paper bead jewellery, hand-woven baskets and eco-products all hand-made in Uganda creating sustainable employment for women previously living in poverty.
  • Aksa Home Decor - Handmade gifts created using ancient art forms practised in India. Homeware, garden decor handcrafted in India by WFTO artisan groups.
  • All of the Good Things - Gift packs include a wide range of eco-friendly, plastic-free, vegan, natural and biodegradable household items that set you up for the good life.
  • Ethica - Handmade Christmas decorations, bags and accessories, baby products from alpaca, cushions and more, supporting women artisans in Peru.
  • Global Conduct - Bags, jewellery, textiles, fair trade tea and chocolate made in and supporting artisan groups from India, Nepal, Cambodia, Vietnam, Thailand and Australia.\
  • House of Mitra - Handmade products using traditional basket weaving , hand weaving and jewellery-making skills
  • Keapsake - Social conscious design, eco and sustainable goods from around the globe. Cow horn mugs, tumblers and pitchers, onyx stone platters, containers, candleholders, recycled glass tumblers, vases and decanters.
  • Kibera Cards - The colourful and unique cards are handmade and designed in the slum of Kibera in Nairobi, enabling people to provide income for their families, helping them to escape from some extreme problems of urban poverty. This project.
  • Little Known Makers - Accessories and homewares from artisans in Madagascar and Morocco to preserve the lesser known craftspeople, their art and unique skills that have been passed down through generations. Uniquely designed bags and cushions and curated vintage Moroccan rugs.
  • Love Bomb - Once a bomb, now a unique piece of jewellery. LOVEbomb components are made from the bombs dropped on Laos during the Vietnam War.
  • Palestine Fair Trade - A social enterprise and charity that imports a unique range of ethically sourced and fair trade products from Palestine, including organic olive oils and artisan foods, embroidery, soap.
  • Stitch'd - Beautiful original designed clothing made in collaboration with artisans from Indonesia.
  • The Elephant Emporium - A business born out of a love for south eastern Asian travel within Thailand & Cambodia that began 10 years ago, sourced directly from artisans in Thailand, Cambodia and other countries.
  • The Toucan Shop - Handmade hammocks, hats, textiles and ceramics, ethically sourced from small groups and individual Latin American artisans to help support traditional cultures.
  • Uplift Fair Trade - Handmade clothing, Christmas decorations, beaded jewellery sets, cards, children's toys, quilts, hand-painted steel cups and jugs, hair accessories, all creating opportunities for disadvantaged artisans.
