A group exhibition of painting and sculpture presented by the Korean Women’s Art Society in Sydney (KWASS).
Sydney is friendly and beautiful. Most are familiar with the amazing scenery but when we take the time to take it in, we are filled with awe and wonder. It is the perfect subject for art and expression.
This collection of works capture the group's affection for the life and city that they have come to love. All the works on display are expressed in a variety of mediums, from a variety of perspectives and each piece conveys their love of Sydney.
In speaking about the exhibition, the members of the Korean Women's Art Society in Sydney explain, 'Thinking back to the day we took our first steps in Sydney, we vividly remember the excitement. We are grateful that Sydney has now become our city—a place of joy and is now at the center of our lives.'
