An exhibition by students, helping to create a healing environment in hospitals through the power of art.
Operation Art is an annual exhibition celebrating the creative achievements of children for more than 30 years. This collection of artworks has been created by students in central and greater Sydney. Of these artworks, 23 artists have had their artworks selected for the Hospital 50 collection. Those works will find their home at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead where they will help make sick children feel better through the power of art.
Operation Art is an initiative of The Children’s Hospital at Westmead in partnership with The NSW Department of Education. For information on how your school can get involved in the exhibition program, student visual arts workshops and teacher professional learning, please visit The Arts Unit website.
The exhibition will be installed at Art Space Gallery – The Concourse and will extend into Chatswood Library.
Art Space Gallery – The Concourse, Willoughby City Council is a proud sponsor of Operation Art Exhibition.
