About The Phoenix Band
The Phoenix Band traces its origins to a group of amateur musicians who immigrated from a small town called Phoenix in southern Taiwan. Coming together in 2018, they began gathering regularly to play Taiwanese folk and pop songs, accompanied by instruments such as the erhu, ukulele, saxophone and violin. Formally established in 2020, the band made its debut in 2024 at the Zen Oasis anniversary event in Medway, New South Wales, and has since performed on several occasions for the Taiwanese community. The band looks forward to contributing to Willoughby community celebrations and supporting charitable organizations through future performances.
