The Plastic Country – documentary screening

Join us for a special screening of The Plastic Country, followed by a short collaborative session to explore individual actions we can take to tackle plastic pollution.

Through the eyes of ocean advocate, filmmaker and the youngest independent councillor elected in the Sutherland Shire, Kal Glanznig, The Plastic Country explores Australia's growing plastic problem and its hidden impacts on our environment, wildlife and human health. Travelling from remote coastlines to wildlife hospitals and Parliament House, Kal uncovers the science, stories and solutions behind one of today's biggest environmental challenges.
