Join us for a unique Chinese handicraft art workshop led by master artist Dadi Xiong, where participants will learn to make traditional Chinese knots and handcrafted lanterns - symbols of good fortune, unity, and festive celebration.

This workshop is a wonderful opportunity to experience Chinese culture through its rich handicraft traditions, especially during one of its most cherished holidays.

About Artist – Dadi Xiong

Dadi Xiong is a distinguished master of Chinese arts and crafts, widely recognized for her exquisite Chinese knotting. Her expertise has been showcased on a national level, with significant works created for major events such as the 2008 Beijing Olympics, for which she crafted the emblem's 'colorful tasseled ribbon'.In Australia, she founded the Sydney Handicraft Art Salon, regularly teaching art enthusiasts and promoting Chinese culture among multi-cultural groups.
