Public holiday market closures

The markets will be closed on the following public holidays in 2026:

Friday 3 April – Good Friday
Saturday 4 April – Easter Saturday
Saturday 25 April – Anzac Day.

Chatswood Markets are a beloved feature of the Chatswood operating for over a decade. Each day 40,000 people walk through the Chatswood Markets with a total of 60,000 people travelling to Chatswood every day. The market aims to enrich and enliven the CBD by providing the highest quality arts, crafts, accessories, food and entertainment. The markets are managed by Willoughby City Council.

Many of our regular stallholders form a wonderful connection to our community, with some going on to start successful businesses in the area based on their success at the Chatswood Markets.

Please note: The Chatswood Markets are for food and product stalls only. If you wish to promote your business, you can hire a space in Chatswood on a non-market day (Sunday to Wednesday) at your preferred location and time/date. Book via our eBookings portal.

We are currently accepting new applications for all stall types. Due to high demand, all retail applicants will be added to our waiting list first, reviewed and informed when a spot becomes available for further processing. Please note that applicants will be notified by email and/or phone.
