Igniting the Rainbow: Poison, Poo and Mad Scientists.
This talk reveals the great change in colour availability beginning with the development of natural colours at the end of the 18th century. The discovery of coal tar colours resulted in hundreds of new colours and shades by the end of the 19th Century.
