Join us for a hands-on Chinese art workshop delivered by the China Cultural Centre in Sydney, an official organisation dedicated to promoting Chinese culture.
In this 2-hour session, you will be introduced to the history and cultural significance of Chinese folding fans and guided step by step through traditional Chinese painting techniques using brush, ink and rice paper. You’ll create your own folding fan artwork featuring simple landscapes or flower-and-bird motifs - no prior experience needed.
All materials are provided and you’ll take your finished artwork home.
A short quiz with small prizes will conclude the session.
